C Family Carnival Session | Houston and Cypress Photographer

After seeing a carnival in a parking lot near our house, I called my brother and sister-in-law and asked if they would be willing to model for an impromptu photo session. A session at a carnival has been on my wish list for a long time and though it didn't look like the ideal type of setting (an abandoned grocery store parking lot), I figured it would be a fun experiment. Luckily, they agreed.

Jon and Crystal were total troopers. It was over 100 degrees outside. But between Crystal's rockin' hot pink shoes and the awesome background, dealing with the heat was worth it for the shots we got.

Rumor has it that there's a dinky carnival set up in that parking lot at least once a month. I'd love to shoot more carnival sessions, so if you are in the Houston, Cypress, or Katy areas and want a color blast in your photos, let me know and we'll set something up!!
