Just FYI-next time you get family photos taken, remember one thing: Wear bright colors. Look how happy the colors are in these photos. I love it. Great job, Mom (because you know Dad is never responsible for this sort of thing).
I love taking family pictures. Love it. But I have to admit that my favorite images are always from the moments that I steal mom and dad for photos. Couples that dedicate their lives (and sanity!) to raising kids, endless messes, and tantrums. None of them ever gets enough time to spend together alone (even in the photos there is usually a kid hanging on a leg, just outside of the frame). It's different than taking engagements because this is an older, more comfortable love. It makes me so very happy.
